About the Author
Ever since I was a small girl, my love for pets was undeniable. My grand mother always kept animals, and our home was never without the soft patter of paws or the comforting purr of a cat nestled beside me.
While many saw cats merely as rat-catchers and dogs as guards, I saw them as companions, friends, and silent healers of the soul. I never hesitated to share my plate with them, much to the dismay of many. At night, my bed was never mine alone—I always had a furry companion curled up beside me, their rhythmic breathing lulling me to sleep. To me, they weren’t just pets—they were family.
As I grew older, my passion for pets and animals deepened, and I found myself drawn to rescuing stray cats and dogs—helpless, forgotten, yet full of resilience. I took them in, cared for them, and gave them a home. Each one had a story, teaching me that pet parenting is more than just food and shelter—it’s about love, understanding, and care.
